Currently the company has received approximately 3,500 orders per month for its hugely popular Nexon EV, which is said to corner some 75 percent of the market. This is because the subsidiary has a unique business model in which it will be a platform for EV makers to access capital for their projects, and provide them with the necessary resources to launch and scale their operations. This model has allowed the company to become a key player in the EV market and attract high levels of investment from TPG Rise Climate.

It is estimated that the capital infusion will be completed by March of next year, when the subsidiary will become operational.

Tata Motors' Plans to Launch 10 New Electric Vehicles:

Interestingly, Tata motors has announced that they’ll launch ten new electric vehicles in India by 2025 wherein they plan to build ten new-battery powered electric vehicles also known as BEVs specifically for the Indian Market. 

As part of its commitment to protecting the environment, they are working with Indian and European battery manufacturers for the production of environmentally friendly batteries for its vehicles.

Not Only this but, the company is planning to launch affordable- electric vehicles and independent battery and infrastructure vehicle programs. Their aim is to make self-sufficient batteries and changing stations.

As a pioneer of clean and green emissions in the Indian automotive industry, Tata Motors has always been on the cutting edge. In addition to its lead in hydrogen fuel cell technology and its foray into CNG and LNG, Ata Motors.
